A celebration of Summer! Time to savor the light and colors, moments of discovery and adventure. Photographs of a warm afternoon or a bright morning.
A recent trip to Maine and New Hampshire begins the season.

My photography is featured in a new book on do-it-yourself herbal bitters.

I worked with the herbal apothecary behind the Burlington, Vermont based Urban Moonshine to create images for their first book – DIY Bitters: Reviving the Forgotten Flavor – A Guide to Making Your Own Bitters for Bartenders, Cocktail Enthusiasts, Herbalists, and More.

This wonderful book is full of information on gathering herbs, creating tinctures and combining to make bitters for health and culinary delights.

We had a great time capturing the magical summer light with the authors, plants and techniques involved in creating bitters.

I saw this on VT public tv the other night! Great film! Fun to see our valley’s own Michael Egan.
